The most moving song for me, and one that I hadn't paid much attention to on RTS was "Nobody's Off the Hook." That one worked it's magical Rufie way into my soul that night.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8791991.post-26386269610336902692008-01-17T20:02:00.000-05:002008-01-17T20:02:00.000-05:00Beautiful review -- glad you liked the photo enoug...Beautiful review -- glad you liked the photo enough to use! It was a great concert, I couldn't have been more thrilled to have travelled ridiculously far to get there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8791991.post-64793992424267934692008-01-17T10:59:00.000-05:002008-01-17T10:59:00.000-05:00Delightful for the first four, five, six songs, su...Delightful for the first four, five, six songs, sure... then it just starts to look like an obnoxious spectacle. And Rufus started to ignore him after a while.goo-guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05557394104506737222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8791991.post-62427583446740270532008-01-17T10:38:00.000-05:002008-01-17T10:38:00.000-05:00Nice review - was a fabulous show... I, however, found the front row standing ovation guy to be rather delightful... as did Rufus.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8791991.post-57729155659061684722008-01-15T14:05:00.000-05:002008-01-15T14:05:00.000-05:00Like a true Rufus-aholic, I have been searching th...Like a true Rufus-aholic, I have been searching the internet for days for playlists and reviews of the New Brunswick show. It was nothing less than magical and I'm so glad I attended. I saw his full-band, Relase the Stars show this summer in the Chicago suburbs, and it was fantastic, but this was just exquisite! There is simply nothing like a true artist stripped to his elements, his piano and guitar. At the New Brunswick show, it was like watching a master work and my eyes literally swelled with tears at the beauty of it all. And like Rufus said himself, he's young! I can't wait to hear what he'll come up with next. Thank you so much for you wonderful words about the show. You captured it all perfectly, Lucy, Rufus, and even the wacky audience members! My dream Rufus song to hear performed live is a cover of his dad's song, One Man Guy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8791991.post-19721032435252694472008-01-15T13:51:00.000-05:002008-01-15T13:51:00.000-05:00OMG- Me and my friend Lauren flew in from Chicago ...OMG- Me and my friend Lauren flew in from Chicago to see this show and we were blown away by this amazing intimate show. I feel like he prepared the set special for us. He looked amazing in that suit and sounded incredible. Too bad I live in chicago or else I'd catch the Radio City Show. Oh, and I agree, sparkley belt front row guy was really annoying. Orgasm girl was pretty funny, though. My favorite song: 14th Street.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
