It was bad enough where I was.

Thanks for the compliment on the photos! I don't really have a great camera and have to push the one I have to its limits. I guess I should just get a bigger, better camera, but who wants to walk around as one of THOSE guys?

Thanks for commenting!goo-guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05557394104506737222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8791991.post-88028177473735451992008-08-13T15:07:00.000-05:002008-08-13T15:07:00.000-05:00I saw them last night in Camden, NJ (right across ...I saw them last night in Camden, NJ (right across from Philly). I came all the way down from NYC to see it, because the tickets were cheaper than to see them at the APW fest (plus I wanted to sightsee in Philly beforehand).

Amazing performance by the band. Wonderful light installations. It was at a big ampitheatre. I was way out on the lawn far away from the band, but the close-up visuals of the members were on screens close to me. The last time I saw Radiohead was in a small club in Cleveland, OH in 1996. My friends and I were literally right in front of Thom. I wish I had had that placement this time, too.

This time, I think it was Colin who kept jumping up and down between songs, waving excitedly at us. We were a super-amped up crowd who loved every minute of the show and let that be known to the band. Radiohead puts their all into their shows, and we gave them our all in response.

The only thing I dislike about Radiohead concerts is the frat boys pushing, waving and blocking others' views, screaming idiotically, moshing to slow songs, and basically making others' experiences worse. It's happended both times I've seen the band. I wish they wouldn't serve alcohol at these events.

Radiohead gave two encores. They played no songs from their first album, and I think they only played one song from OK Computer (or maybe two?), but not any of the better-known ones. The second encore of last night ended with Street Spirit. PERFECT.

Very nice photos you have!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
